For Boy & Girls Entering K - 5th Grade
DATES, TIMES, & LOCATIONS
We are planning to offer this exciting weekly sports program on Sunday mornings at the Wesley Chapel Elementary School (**30243 Wells Rd). The scheduled dates are August 6, August 13, August 20, August 27 from 9:30 am to 11:30 am
The suggested donation of $15 per person includes participation in all 4 weekly sessions, and everyone who registers by August 6th will receive a camp t-shirt (given at the second week of camp). In addition, we are offering a $5 discount per person for multiple participants from the same household ($10 each).
REQUIRED FORMS & REGISTRATION
Preregistration is strongly encouraged for the 4 week soccer camp. If you would like to preregister, simply email the child's name, DOB, and grade to email@example.com If you want to move quickly through the check in station, you can fill out the complete a liability and waiver form and bring a check or cash for the registration fee.
This Soccer Camp is run by volunteers from Grace Community. Many of these individuals have experience as coaches and players from local recreational and competitive programs. All adult volunteers complete a criminal background check.
STUFF TO BRING
Please bring a water bottle and a soccer ball each week. Players entering K - 2nd grade should bring a size 3 ball. Players entering 3rd to 5th grade should bring a size 4 ball. All players will be asked to provide their own shin guards and to wear the shin guards underneath long socks. They can wear cleats (no metal studs) or sneakers.
**In the case of rain we will attempt to move under a covered court for drills (or we will do activities inside if there is lightning). Players will be asked to wear sneakers on a day where rain is expected. If there is severe weather we will likely have to cancel that week . We hope your family will join us for this exciting program. Your child will have fun, make friends, learn fundamental soccer skills, and be taught lessons about teamwork, respect, sportsmanship, and faith. Parents are encouraged to observe for the first hour of soccer sessions (or to kick the ball around with younger siblings), to participate in the combined “Half Time” session, and to enjoy the message for families (we will offer a nursery and preschool activity for children ages 5 and under at 10:30 am).
