Prayer Requests

"At that time people began to call on the name of the LORD." Genesis 4:26

Prayer is one of the earliest expressions of faith, and it is a great comfort to us in times of trial or troubles.   Today we live in a world of worry, hardship, violence, debts, and family struggles, but we can always look to God in prayer especially when life gets hard.   When we pray, we know that God hears us and that He cares for us (even if His answers are delayed or different than we expected).

Prayer is at the center of a healthy relationship with God, and it is at the center of our community of faith. We believe that prayer is powerful and effective (James 5:16), and we are happy to pray with you or for you.  Feel free to ask a pastor or church leader to pray for you before or after any worship service or at any other appropriate time.

If you would like share a prayer request, you can simply text the church office at (813) 994-9363. Please let us know if you wish to keep your request confidential with the pastor and elders only or if you wish to share it within the church family (it can also be sent out anonymously to the church family if you prefer).
